Cuticle oil does more for how your nails look between appointments than anything else you can do at home. It keeps the skin at the nail wall soft, which is what stops it drying out, lifting and catching on things. On a full set it also helps the product stay flexible — dry nails are brittle nails.
CiCi finishes every service with it, and it’s the thing she most often sends people home with. There’s no technique to learn: a small amount at the base of each nail, massaged in, as often as your hands need it. Hands that get washed all day need it more than most.
Keep it somewhere you’ll actually see it. The bottle in a drawer doesn’t do anything.
